OWNER & COLOR DIRECTOR

Jonnie started experimenting with hair color at an early age. As a true artist, he started his career as a colorist 13 years ago working exclusively with L'Oreal Professionel products. While working in Newport Beach, one of the most exclusive areas in Orange County, he decided to go against the trend of over processed hair colors and focus on creating natural tones to enhance the individual style of each one of his clients. Jonnie is an expert in Balayage, which is a technique that creates beautiful dimension through graduated color contrast. He loves spreading "Balayage Love " to bring out the beauty of each client. As an Educator/Portfolio Artist for L'Oreal Professionel, he has eagerly shared his knowledge and expertise with other hairdressers. Jonnie prides himself on staying up-to-date with the latest developments in order to give his clients the highest level of service. His goal is to use his talents and skills to get the best results for everyone who comes to sit in his chair.

ABEL
OWNER & MASTER STYLIST

Abel has been in the hair industry for 14 years. He started out his education at Paul Mitchell the School in Costa Mesa, CA. While in school, he had the opportunity to work with celebrity colorist Beth Minardi and Paul Mitchell platform artist Melissa Jaqua. After completing his schooling, he apprenticed at Cristophe Salon in Newport Beach, CA. After being at Cristophe, he decided to change things up and try the Los Angeles neighborhood. There he landed an apprentice position with Author, celebrity stylist Carrie White, who does the likes of, Sandra Bullock, Amber Valletta, Wallis Annenberg, to name a few. It was there where he decided that hair cutting and styling were his strong points. He definitely felt that the “LA” scene gave him thicker skin and a backbone to be able to handle all types of personalities. Although he enjoyed The City of Angels, he also wanted to continue his education in Counseling, so after moving back to Orange County, he finished is apprentice program in Newport Beach, CA. Abel has always had the mentality that education never gets old. He continued his education through the Bumble and Bumble academy in New York, and trained with L’oreal Professionel and Kevin Murphy. Abel agrees that the key to being a successful hairdresser is humility and having a good ear. Every client wants to feel that they are being cared for and listened to.
